About Chernobyl Children's Lifeline Cairnsmore

We are a Link (local group) of the charity Chernobyl Children's Lifeline. The Link covers the Galloway region of Scotland. Our aim is to raise awareness, raise funds and find hosts and helpers to bring different groups of children with a Leader from Belarus or northern Ukraine to Galloway each year a recuperative holiday. The children are suffering from the ongoing consequences of the Chernobyl Nuclear disaster. The recuperation will flush out and boost the children's deficient immune systems.
